Dr Georges C. Zgheib is a Lebanese trained and qualified Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT), Head and Neck Surgeon and Rhinoplasty expert . He was born and schooled in Lebanon and started his medical school at the Lebanese University then he completed his studies in Europe, graduating with honours in 2006. He went on to train in ENT surgery, rotating through many hospitals during his advanced training in France and the United Kingdom.
Dr Georges’s practice focuses solely on complex nasal reconstruction, often following previous surgery or significant trauma or secondary revisions. He has experience with nasal reconstruction in athletes ( Basketball, Boxing..). Total structural loss, septal perforations, significant external deformity and dramatic functional airway compromise all fall under his scope of practice. He has performed over 100 costal rib cartilage rhinoplasties.
A large part of his practice is also cosmetic rhinoplasty (female and male of all ages) and facial injections ( fat graft , fillers ).
Dr Georges also provides a wide service of facial plastic surgery , all common facial neck lifting , full face lifting , blepharoplasties ( upper and lower) and many other facial flap reconstructions .
Dr Zgheib has a peaceful Valley House in Hrajel , Lebanon where he and his family spend much of his time. His interests include all things arts, construction and earthworks. He is an active musician guitar player and enjoys fitness, sports, food and travel. Over his life has been involved in music and house restoration projects.
Dr. Georges teaches and operates publically at Notre Dame de Secours and LAU St John medical center Hospitals. He is very active academically in rhinoplasty, attending and presenting at national webinars and regularly travelling nationally and internationally to visit colleagues, attending and presenting at conferences and courses.
He worked in both public and private practice in ENT, Head and Neck Surgery for 14 years in Beirut and North Lebanon as the region’s primary provider of ENT services. This strong background in rural generalist ENT surgery garnered excellent experience in otology (ear), rhinology (nasal airway and sinus surgery) and paediatric ENT surgery.
For seven years between 2016 and 2023, Dr George had an official consultant appointment in his country where he maintained strong links to his peers, academic upkeep and the enjoyment of being involved in teaching advanced ENT surgical trainees.
From 2013 to 2016, Dr George worked closely with Professor Jamal Jawad (chairman department ENT , Sinus and Rhinology Surgeon, Dr Soliman Fakeeh Hospital Saudi Arabia ), with whom he shares a passion and structural philosophy for sinus/fungal sinusitis treatments and nasal reconstruction. The opportunity to work full-time with Professor Jawad in the office and operating room was a major factor in Dr George decision to relocate back to Lebanon from Saudi Arabia.
